About David R. Linn
David R. Linn
I have been a board certified civil trial attorney since 1991.
I grew up in Chicago and attended the University of Wyoming, graduating with a degree in philosophy in 1973. I received my juris doctorate degree in law from Antioch School of Law in Washington, D.C. in 1977, and moved to Florida. In 1978, I joined the State Attorney’s office for the 20th Judicial Circuit (Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Hendry and Glades counties) and prosecuted primarily felony crimes until going into private practice in 1983.
My wife Irene taught in the public schools for 24 years, and is a recipient of the Golden Apple award by the Foundation for Lee County Schools as well as former president of the Lee Council Teachers of English. Now that our children are raised and gone we enjoy our grandchildren, boating, going to plays and travel in our spare time.
